Originally from Las Vegas, Brittany relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 and later to Irvine in 2019. She brings over 22 years of experience in the business world, with a strong background in office management, organization, accounting, and consulting.
Throughout her career, she developed the skills necessary to support effective management and sound financial operations. Her responsibilities have included overseeing day-to-day business activities, organizing workflows, and implementing systems designed to improve efficiency and streamline operations. It was through this hands-on experience that she discovered her niche in accounting and gained a deep understanding of how a well-structured business truly functions. In 2010, her and her business partner (in another business) launched a construction company, growing it from a two-person operation into a thriving team of more than 30 employees. Building a business from the ground up has given her a practical, real-world perspective that sets her apart from the typical bookkeeper or accountant. She founded BrittByDesign in 2012 to help startups establish a solid foundation and assist existing businesses in getting organized and operating more efficiently. She is passionate about helping people, and her work is designed for everyday individuals navigating real-life business challenges. Steven joined BrittByDesign in 2025 as associate to help clients with general bookkeeping and payroll. He has 20 years in Distribution and Logistics Operations and 5 years in onsite Construction Project Management. Throughout his career he has developed skills to manage multiple everyday projects, oversee and coordinate tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and turnaround times. He is motivated by complex problems and continuous improvement and embarks in challenges for growth. This is how he developed his niche for accounting, where he can combine logic, organization and analysis to turn chaos into clarity. He will manage the backend so you can concentrate on moving your business forward. |
